Skier Uhazier Strong Finish at States

Ladywood sophomore Natalie Uhazie was the lone skier who traveled to the state competition this weekend up at Boyne Highlands. Uhazie finished 19th in the Slalom completion with a final time of 1:08:91 She also finished 28th in the Giant Slalom with a result of 1:04:76. Ski Team Finishes in 4th Place as SEMSL Championship

SLS Ski Team finished in 4th Place at the South East Michigan Ski League (SEMSL) Championship at Alpine Valley yesterday. Junior, Natalie Uhazie took 8th overall in the Giant Slalom event. The team is back in action tomorrow night in CHSL Championship at Mt. Brighton. Events will begin around 5pm.

Varsity Ski: 2nd Place Finish in Divisional and CHSL Championships

On Thursday, February 11, the Varsity Ski team placed 2nd in the Divsional Championships at Alpine Valley with Freshman Natalie Uhazie finishing 5th in the Giant Slalom. This was followed by a 2nd place finish at the CHSL Championships Friday, February 12, at Pine Knob where the team defeated Mercy and Notre Dame Preparatory. Standouts

Ski closes out regular season with 2 wins.

On Tuesday the Varsity Ski team wrapped up their regular season with a pair of wins.  Ladywood defeated Milford 32-45 and Lakeland 25-48.
