Varsity Lacrosse Defeats FGR in Home Opener

Ladywood Varsity Lacrosse defeated Fr. Gabriel Richard in their home opener yesterday 11-6. Blazers are 3-1 over all, 2-0 in conference play. Varsity Lacrosse get first two wins of the season defeating Detroit Country Day on Friday night 13-12 and Regina Sunday 11-3. Blazers are 2-1 on the season, 1-1 in conference play. On Saturday, Ladywood trailed 6-5 at the half but dominated the 2nd half on their way to a 13-11 win and 4th straight CHSL D-2 Championship. Junior Shannon Mulcahy led the Blazer attack with 5 goals.
