Bowling Ends Season at Regionals

Ladywood Bowling season comes to an end at Regional Tournament at Oak Lanes. The team finished in 13 place after the team competition on Friday. Sophomore, Maria Roelant (897) and Junior, Liz Kemp (884) finished 32nd and 33rd in the individual tournament on Saturday after competing in 6 games. Ladywood Bowling competed in the Catholic League tournament yesterday at Oak Lanes. Blazers advanced to the playoff round, finishing in the top 4 after morning events. Happy New Year and Welcome back Blazer Fans! We have a jam pack weekend at Ladywood High School. Friday night, we kick off welcome back weekend with basketball taking on rivals from Mercy. Hutter wins Regional, Estigoy takes 5th as both qualify for State Finals.

Seniors Sabine Hutter and Veronica Estigoy were persistent all day at the Individual Bowling Regionals.  Both came through in a huge way in their final games to both qualify for the MHSAA State Bowling Finals.  Hutter won the Individual Title while Estigoy finished in 5th. Ladywood finishes 7th at Regionals

In a tight Regional at Oak Lanes Ladywood finished 7th in the Team Regionals.  The Top 3 advance to the State Finals.  Only 50 pins separated 4th thru 8th place.  With 6 Baker Games and 3 Full Games the Blazers finished with a 3,000 total.  Marysville was the 3rd place finisher with 3,190 total pins

Ladywood has solid showing at own Invitational.

Ladywood finished in 16th at the Ladywood Invitational but had several solid individual performances.  Senior Sabine Hutter finished 20th overall with a 3 game score of 512 including a 214 in Game 3 which was the 3rd best game of the day.  Senior Veronica Estogy bowled a 417 with a high game of 152.  Sophomore

Varsity Bowling Coach Judy Jaeger named Coach of the Year.

Ladywood Varsity Bowling Coach Judy Jaeger was named Michigan High School Coaches Association Girls Bowling Coach of the Year.  Coach Jaeger will receive her award this Sunday at the 55th Annual MHSCA Coach of the Year Banquet.
