JV Volleyball captures Erie-Mason Invitational.

The JV Volleyball team capped off a perfect 5-0 weekend by capturing the Erie-Mason Championship.  The Blazers opened pool play with a 25-14, 25-4 win over Greenville.  They finished pool play by defeating Ida 25-19, 25-9 and Wyandotte 25-22, 25-8.  In the Semifinals Ladywood again defeated Wyandotte 25-23, 25-17 and in the Championship defeated Dundee

Cross Country takes 3rd at Wayne County Championships.

The Ladywood Cross Country team had a solid day at the Wayne County Championships as the Blazers took 3rd in D-2.  Ladywood was led by Freshman Catherine McLaurin who broke 20 minutes for the first time with a run of 19:57.  McLaurin run is the 4th best in Ladywood history.  Sophomore Sarah Wilson also had a

Swim & Dive beat Regina 101-76.

The Varsity Swim & Dive team had a solid meet as they pulled away from Regina 101-76.  Taking first place honors for the Blazer were Junior Tiffany Pijor in the 200 Free (2:16.09) and 100 Fly (1:09.50), Sophomore Morgan Jones in the 200 IM (2:22.02) and 500 Free (5:34.52), Senior Alanna Tarnacki in the 50

Ladywood cruised by Central foe Regina in 3 sets winning 25-14, 25-14, 25-12.  Sophomore Kayla March led the attack for the Blazers with 14 kills.  Junior Izzy Porada added 8 kills and 4 aces for Ladywood.  Senior Tess Laurentius added 23 digs while Sophomore Haley Moores added 4 aces for Ladywood. The JV Volleyball team had a solid team effort as they defeated visiting Regina in 2 sets 25-16, 25-15.  Sophomore Jaclyn Mullen, Abi Gluchowski and Kelcy Sonservacio had solid all around games to lead the balanced attack.  The JV will next be in action Saturday at 8:30am at the Erie-Mason Invitational.  They will open pool

Ladywood upends Saline 2-0.

Amber Culloty named new Head Varsity Basketball Coach.

Amber Culloty has been named the new Varsity Head Basketball Coach at Ladywood High School.  Culloty is a 2004 Alum of Ladywood and has been the Varsity Assistant for the past 4 seasons.  Culloty was a solid point guard in her playing days for both Ladywood and Concordia College and brings that knowledge and experience to
