Ladywood Hockey falls to Cranbrook 2-1 in OT last night. This is Blazers first loss of season, but still remain on top with a 18-1 record. With 35 points on the season, they still hold first place in the Michigan Metro Girls High School Hockey League.
Ladywood’s lone goal came from Senior, Cece Werner in the 1st period, assisted by Junior, Brooke Speigel.
Blazers are back on the ice this Saturday in the CHSL Championship Game. Puck drop at 3pm at St. Mary’s against conference rival, Mercy.
